Driver/Installer Required
 

We are currently looking for a Team Member to carry out deliveries and installations of office furniture. Working a part of a two-person team, you will be required to install office furniture on customer premises around the country. The role will also involve normal deliveries as well as installation work. Experience of installing/building furniture is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

As one of our Team Members, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Care of customers' goods and property

  • Care of Company vehicles, equipment and property

  • Industry leading face to face customer services

  • Completion of assigned deliveries and collections in a timely, professional manner

  • Health and safety for yourself and others

  • Adherence to road safety rules and laws

  • Respect and adherence to all site rules whilst representing the Company

Key Skills

We are a customer focused business and we are looking for an individual with the following skills:

  • Experience of building/installing furniture

  • Polite and positive attitude

  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service and experience

  • Ability to drive according to conditions and understanding of the road

  • Highway code knowledge

  • Geographical and road network knowledge

  • Teamwork

  • Drive, determination and resilience

  • Time management

  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties safely and effectively

  • Numeracy and ability to see patterns/identify codes and products

Remuneration and Hours of Work

You will be fully employed and receive the necessary paid holidays per year. As an employee, a Company pension scheme is also available to you.

There is a guaranteed basic salary of £22,000 based on 40 hours per week, with additional payments for working extra hours and an annual bonus of £2,000 (paid monthly in instalments). You can expect to earn between £26,000 and £28,000 per year. There is also a safe driver bonus available each month in the form of store vouchers.

Work is Monday to Friday, with additional rest days in the week awarded. This means that you will benefit from a four-day week at non-peak times.

There is a basic salary of £21,000, with overtime available.

Delivery Driver (Team Member) Required
 

We are currently looking to add to our courier driver team. As part of our team, you will carry out daily deliveries and represent the Company in a polite and professional manner. You will carry out a variety of different deliveries for different clients. This varies from delivering office furniture, to pathology samples and computer equipment. This is not a parcel multi-drop role.
