We started this year determined to significantly increase our blog posting frequency, however, it has not turned out that way. Major medical news for one of our directors has severely impacted our plans for the year thus far. Whilst the business has continued to operate smoothly, one or two things have had to be placed on hold. The continued business as usual approach that we have been able to employ, is a considerable credit to our team. It has been a challenging period, but none of our customers would think anything was any different here.
As a business, we can now start to look forward again. The demands on the team have been significant, but we have pulled through together. Unfortunately, we have lost a couple of members of the team along the way. This means our staff retention figures will take a slight hit this year, but we still expect to be considerably above average. Continuity for our customers is key and is a big part of what makes us so valuable to them.
Employee Awards February Through May
Employee awards is not something that we have stuck to as much as we would have liked over this period. However, we have still managed to pat some guys on the back along the way. The following employees have all been awarded vouchers for their work over the past few months:
Tyler Gearing
Lee Davies
Craig Hughes
Dean Quayle
Dean is our newest recruit, so it was good to see him fit right in and record the top driver score for May. Dean replaced Paul Robinson, who decided to leave us in March after three years with CK.
Finally, long-term member of staff Lee Davies will be leaving us at the end of the month. Lee has been a popular both with our team and our customers. He is leaving us to go and be a driving instructor in his remaining work years. In all honesty, we could not think of a better guy to teach people how to drive. So patient and experienced. We will miss our actor and Andor Stormtrooper, but wish Lee all the very best in the future.
